Streamlining the body
The nose section has been designed to be aerodynamic, meaning it will slip through the air smoothly, saving us valuable power and giving the car better economy. This will hopefully make the battery last longer. The nose has been smoothed over with 2 part polyester car body filler which will provide a tough surface and hide the joints in the wood panels. Here Tom is using a dual action sander and dust extractor to give the filler and wood a fine finish ready for applying paint.
