Work on the body continues
We have reinforced the nose cone with glass fibre (GRP) and cut a top cover from 3mm MDF to go over the driver's legs. Thin MDF is flexible so it will form a curve over the top. We will join the nose cone to the top section to make a one piece nose section for strength and easy removal. In the picture you can see the clamps used to hold the bodywork firmly while the polyester resin sets in position.
