Big Bang Fair 2014
Several Tor Bridge engineers including members of TBR had an exciting trip last week after a visit to the Big Bang Fair at The NEC Birmingham. The fair shows them the exciting possibilities that exist for young people with science, technology, engineering and maths backgrounds. It emphasises the contribution they can make to the economy and to society in general. Whilst at the fair our students attended the ‘Gastronaut Extreme’ show. The BBC’s Stefan Gates took them on an explosive, stomach-churning journey into the science of their lunch, and some were even brave enough to try meal worms!
